" I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you."

Isaiah 44:22

Our sins were like ominous clouds gathered over our lives, cutting off hope and allowing no light of peace. Though we were hopeless in our condition, this did not inhibit Christ the Redeemer.

Truly, the Son rose upon those who were sitting in darkness. His light dissipated the darkness and drove away the thick clouds of despair. Christ saved us from the peril of our sins. As the morning mist evaporates before the intensity of the sun, Christ wiped away the veil of our transgressions. Jesus redeemed us by His blood, and we belong to God.

Because of this great love, we should give all of ourselves to Him. The call to come to return to God, to serve Him, is based upon God's redeeming love. No greater love have we known than the love of God. There is no kindness or mercy greater than God's. Let us take heed of His call and surrender all to Him. God alone has removed our sins from us as far as the East is from the West.

" And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek."

Psalm 9:10

God has proven Himself to us time and time again. None have found any other more trustworthy or loving. He has never failed us, though we have failed more than we would like to admit. He has loved us unceasingly when we have drawn cold. He has sought us when we have gone astray and has never left us.

The more we know God, the more we desire Him. All around us is changing, but He remains the same. We struggle with fear and do not know what tomorrow holds. But He has promised to work all things for the good of our salvation.

So, let us seek Him today. Draw near to God and cast yourself upon His grace. He will not turn you away but shall seal you with His Spirit and claim you as His own. Trust the Lord today. He will not forsake you.

" Be patient in tribulation."

Romans 12:12

It is difficult to be patient. It is more challenging to be patient while in tribulation. No one likes to go through trying times. We try to avoid them and get quickly through them the best that we can.

However, scripture tells us that they are a part of our life. We are not to see tribulation as a strange occurrence, but we should be patient through it. How can one be patient in tribulation?

"Be constant in prayer. " Are the next words to follow "Be patient in tribulation." This is the only way we can patiently endure if we look to our Father and follow the example of Christ. The Holy Spirit will give us the grace and power. We also have the assurance that God is working all things for the good of our salvation. He will not harm us but help us through our lives until He calls us unto Himself.

Be patient today, beloved. Trust that God is with you and remain constant in prayer.
