" Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear."

Isaiah 65:24

Beloved, what hope we have this day in knowing that there is not one good thing the Lord will withhold from His children. He knows the needs in your life. God is willing and able to bless you with all that is according to His good will for your life. All that is needed, for godliness, shall be yours in Christ. Your Father is watching over you. His providence is at work long before your request.

Take courage in knowing that the Lord hears you. Not one word or sigh has gone unheard. There is not a tear that He has not seen. The Lord will extend mercy to you. He will see you through. So be encouraged to lay your burden before the Lord. He will not turn you away.

" O Lord, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O Lord, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy."

Habakkuk 3:2

From time past, God's word was for our benefit, given unto us for instruction. So we may know the one true living God. Scripture is also for our comfort and edification. We should look upon the promises of God and His miraculous ways as food for the soul. From the storehouse of God's promises come to the throne of grace.

Let us seek the divine help of our Father. Come boldly, beloved, in the name of the Lord. Ask God to revive His work amid your years. That God's blessings would be yours, and His favor would be upon your children and as many as are a far off. God will be faithful. His goodness and power have no end.

"The Lord hurled a great wind upon the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea,..

The sea grew more and more tempestuous.

So they picked up Jonah and hurled him into the sea, and the sea ceased from its raging. Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly,"

Jonah 1:4,11,15 -16

Not every storm in life is the result of sin. Sin and disobedience will produce trouble. Jonah's disobedience to God brought the great wind into his life. The wind and turbulent sea express God's wrath against sin. Only when Jonah is hurled into the water did the seas cease from raging. What a frightening experience for the mariners to behold.

Our sin, beloved, should bring the same fear of God into our lives. Thankfully, in Christ, we have propitiation. Our sin was laid upon Him at Calvary. God's wrath was poured out because of our sins. But the sinless sacrifice of Christ redeemed us. Atonement was made, and the debt, penalty, and power of sin were broken. The sea has ceased from its raging and the peace of God is with you in Christ.
