Be at Peace | June 26th

" Remember your word to your servant, in which you have made me hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life."

Psalm 119:49 - 50

Beloved, many are the promises of God unto His children. All of which we can hold to with confidence in Christ. He is the greatest of all promises, and our hope is secure in Him.

We need not remind our Father of His promises, for He knows everything. But we are invited to speak to Him concerning them. To recite them in prayer not for God's ears, but for ours, so that our hearts and troubled minds might be set upon the promises of God. His faithfulness, goodness, and willingness to meet us at our point of need.

So come before the throne of grace this day in confidence. Lift your voice to the One who can help, who has promised to help and never forsake you. The Lord will give you life.
