Be Filled | Oct. 19th

" For He satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things."

Psalm 107:9

Beloved, here is a promise from our heavenly Father to satisfy the void within our spirit. Sin has left us barren. We attempt to fill our lives with many things while looking for a sense of purpose and identity. When we hear the truth, power, and life of the Gospel, is when we realize our condition. That we need salvation and that there is only one Savior, Jesus Christ.

When the Holy Spirit brings regeneration to a life, we long for God and to be filled with the truth of His word. God will fulfill this promise. He will not turn us away but will abundantly satisfy us.

Take heart then and seek the Lord today. Taste and see that the Lord is good. You will never thirst again.
