"The Mighty One, God the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth."
Psalm 50:1-2
The earth is the Lord, and all it contains belongs to Him. He established Zion as His dwelling place for worship. The truth of God shined forth like the dawning of the sun, dispelling the darkness of night.
There is no greater beauty or light than that found in the Gospel. Christ, in His glory, is more beautiful than anything within creation. The Gospel has broken the power of sin and death. It's darkness and fear removed by the glorious hope in Christ.
May the Spirit of God open our understanding of the beauty of His creation. His wisdom, faithfulness, and goodness are on display. Then may the Spirit lift our hearts and minds to a higher beauty in Himself and all that God has granted unto us in Christ and the truth of His word.
May God shine upon you this day in abundant goodness, and may His mercy be upon your life in an ever-increasing measure.
