Daily Bread | Feb. 2nd

"Give us this day our daily bread."

Matthew 6:11

It is easy for us to be worried about the future. We make plans for the days ahead with mixed feelings of hope and anxiety. We wonder what the future holds while we pray for a hopeful outcome. These feelings and thoughts are a part of life because of our limited understanding of tomorrow.

Beloved, God understands that we are finite, so the Lord invites us to come before Him daily. Acknowledge the Lord for the future, but start by trusting Him daily. He has promised to meet us one day at a time.

Within each day, God makes provision for His people. God will faithfully supply our spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. Nothing is too hard for Him. Nothing is so small that God would not be moved in compassion, and nothing is so great that He does not have an answer.

The Lord is working everything for the good of our salvation. Therefore, ask Him today for your daily bread. He will be faithful to see His will fulfilled in your life.
