"The Lord God helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame." -Isaiah 50:7
Christ fulfilled this verse for us, and by His example, we find hope and strength today. There is assurance that comes from knowing that we are in the will of God. That we, by grace, can move forward in life with courage. The Spirit of God enables us to persevere through every circumstance and season in life. There will never be a time when we will be disappointed for trusting God. We will never regret being obedient to His word. He will renew us and empower us every step of the way. Beloved, be not dismayed. Do not turn back or give up. Stay the course and trust the Lord. Set your face like a flint and follow Christ.
