I think every generation has concern for those who will follow them. It can feel as though things are growing worse by the day. Society endorses an ideology of not having children, fearing that the world cannot sustain more human life and the ever-present concern over the environment.
However, this is in direct contradiction to scripture. God called Adam and Eve to have children, to take dominion over His creation. Trusting that the Lord would be faithful unto His people throughout human history. No matter how long that endured until the second coming of Christ.
God will remain faithful to all of His people throughout the epics of human history. There may be cause for concern, but we should never doubt the faithfulness of God to every generation. God is with you, beloved, and all those you are concerned for.
