It is good to be reminded that in our deepest needs, God met us when there was no hope at all. Christ died for us while we were dead in sin. We were alienated from God and without hope. The Lord first loved us and redeemed us with His life so that we might belong to Him.
In the needs of life and in the dark moments that cannot be explained, remind yourself of God's grace in saving you. The cost of making you his own. He will not forsake you. The Lord knows your present need and the extent of your sorrow. Nothing can separate you from His love for you in Christ.
Know that the Lord is holding you. He will keep you through the trial. Trust the One who bears the marks of His love for you.
