Good Conversation | Sept. 3rd

"A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver."

Proverbs 25:11

The desire to be helpful in times of need will cause us to take to heart the truth of this verse.

We all experienced advice or comments from others that either were helpful or added to the existing problem. The aim to have a word fitly spoken is the desire of a true friend. The starting point of a word season by grace is to have the wisdom and compassion of God. To be patient and selfless.

Understanding the needs of the other person takes precedence. It is not about trying to impress someone or prove you can help them. Few words and timely moments can be more beneficial than many words and forced points of view.

Let us strive to have words fitly spoken for those who need a word of comfort in their time of need.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
