Heal Me | April 10th

"Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise."

Jeremiah 17:14

Jeremiah is not seeking physical healing but the healing that comes from God's deliverance and aid. The trials of life will weary the soul and body by its anguish. The troubled mind robs the heart and body of peace, bearing upon the shoulders a heavy load.

It is these trials that plague the spirit that also weakens one's body and will. Beloved, be not dismayed. Turn to the Lord and cast your burden upon Him. Seek the healing of your wearied soul and His protection through the trial. God will supply your needs, and He shall save you. His grace will be made sufficient.

The mercy of the Lord is made new for you this morning and will refresh you as you come to His word. Trust the Lord. He will not forsake you.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
