"Seek humility; "
Zephaniah 2:3
Beloved, let us take to heart the command from our heavenly Father to seek humility. He has been merciful towards us. If we have experienced the patience of God, then we should demonstrate that in our lives towards others.
When we correctly understand God's grace towards us, it creates a humble spirit. Pride can not live in the light of such truth. To know how the Lord has forgiven us removes an arrogant heart.
The Spirit of God works to create within us a teachable attitude and a reasonable demeanor that is not easily provoked or harsh. He will help us, but we have to seek humility. It is a part of our daily prayer, a petition we can bring before the Lord today.
