Proverbs 10:28
Scripture tells us that we shall have trials of various kinds in this life. We are invited as Christians to take up our cross, deny ourselves, and follow the Lord. The word of God warns us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against the rulers and powers of darkness. Our adversary prowls around like a roaring lion seeking to devour.
Despite all this, it is promised to us that we will be more than conquerors in Christ. The righteous hope in God and know that by trusting in Him, they will never be disappointed. Joy will always be the portion of those who belong to God. It will be obtained in this life and full measure in the next. The joy of the Lord is your strength, and hope in God. Look to Him today.
