Light in the Darkness | Dec. 21st

" The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor the brightness shall the moon give you light; but the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory."

Isaiah 60:19

The brilliance of the natural light of this glorious creation shall pale in comparison to the glory of the gospel and the person of the gospel, Jesus Christ. Those in the perils of sin and gloom have seen a glorious light breaking in upon the darkness, causing all shadows to flee.

It may be a dreary day, beloved filled with gloom and doubts. But the God of all comfort shines upon you. He is the lifter of your head and an ever-present help in times of need. The peace of God will dawn upon your heavy heart as the Holy Spirit restores your troubled soul.

The promise is clear the Lord shall not forsake you, and nothing in this world will ever separate you from His lovingkindness in Christ.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
