"Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord; also his mother, who has been a mother to me as well."


Romans 16:13


Beloved, we may never fully know the impact we may have upon a person in a private setting. Reflecting on this verse, we may understand that every person needs encouragement.

That there is not one person so significant that we cannot be a blessing to them. Here we have the great apostle Paul speaking of the motherly kindness shown to him by someone we will never know.

Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and because of his personal experience he acknowledges this person who was a blessing to him. Let us take full advantage of this day and the opportunity to be a blessing to one another. Nothing we do for the Lord is in vain. Show the love of Christ when the need is present.
