Psalm 119:52
In a world that is constantly changing, it is a comfort to know that the Lord is unchanging. He remains the same. Nothing can be taken from Him or added to Him. God is eternally and immutable. Not only is God the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, but so are His ways.
Let us be glad that His mercy continues as He promised to those in Christ. He has not changed the means of salvation or the sufficiency of Christ's redemption. The promised Holy Spirit has not been taken away, nor has God changed His mind in the plan of redemption.
His goodness and mercy continue to follow those who follow Christ as their Shepherd, and he still renews our souls for His name's sake. Be comforted knowing God is eternal and remains the same in His purposes. The Lord is at work and works all things for the good of your salvation.
