"God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ." -Ephesians 2:4-5
Mercy: God has given us what we do not deserve. We deserved His wrath, but Christ died for us while we were dead in sin. It is the great love of God that should humble our hearts. Knowing that the rich mercy of the Lord that saved us is the same made new for us each day. No amount of work could have secured such grace. It was His grace alone that reconciled us unto Himself. We are called to repent and entrust ourselves to the Lord. The peace you need for all seasons of life and in every circumstance comes from knowing the rich mercy of God. He has chosen us in Christ and bestowed abundant mercy upon us. Allow this truth to encourage your heart today while bringing peace to your mind.
