Songs for Today | June28th

"Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my sojourning."

Psalm 119:54

As we sojourn in this temporal tent, we pass through a weary land. The journey can prove arduous, but there is a divine beauty that bears witness to a Creator. God leads us by His Spirit and has supplied scripture that we might know the way.

The word of God becomes our anchor and the songs of hope. His word fortifies our spirit and renews the mind. Its precepts strengthen our steps and enable us to endure even when the outward man grows weaker by the day. The inner man is renewed each by the word hidden in the heart.

Let us take hold of God's word this day, and may His word become the song in our hearts as we pass through this world.
