"After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven!

God sent Adam and Eve out from the Garden of Eden because of their sin. At the east end, God placed a cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the Tree of Life. How could man ever be reconciled to God? Would we ever know the beauty of unbroken fellowship and Eden?
The Apostle John is in exile when he sees Christ. He is permitted to see what is yet to come. There in heaven stands a door. But it is not barred or barricaded. The door stands open to John, and he can see into heaven.
The way into heaven has been opened through Jesus Christ. The door stands open to all who have been called by Him. Those who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and born of the Spirit enter by the grace of God. This door stands open to you today, beloved. Come to the Lord in prayer today.
