The Lord is a Refuge | March 29th

"The Lord has become my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge."

Psalm 94:22

Beloved, be intentional in making the Lord your stronghold and the rock of refuge. God declares Himself as being a refuge for His people. We can be sure of it. But we must run to God and entrust ourselves to His care.

A stronghold remains a fortified defense even if no one hides within its walls. The rock that can be a refuge from a violent storm continues to exist even if no one finds shelter in its strength.

God offers Himself and declares that He is the God of all comfort. He is omnipotent and loving. Why would you not come to Him? Why would you continue to trust in yourself or anything other than God?

Come to the Lord this day with all that concerns you. In Him, you shall find peace. The Lord will keep you and will work all things for the good of your salvation.
