The Good Shepherd leads us beside still waters in this life, but there is a fairer land that we will dwell in with Him. All those who were thirsty have come to the giver of life Himself. Jesus is everlasting life.
If you are in a weary land today, beloved, do not despair. Look to the Lord, cast your gaze upon that distant land, where there will be no more sorrow or pain.
Jesus has gone to prepare a place for you. You will enter in by His grace alone. As you continue, the Lord has promised to restore your soul while supplying all your needs. Do not grow faint. The river of the water of life is at hand, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and the Lamb. There you shall dwell in perfect peace.
