"I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite."
Isaiah 57:15
God, who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, who is Holy, draws us unto Himself. With this fellowship comes the assurance of God's mercy in our lives. He is willing to comfort us, to revive us, and to lift the downcast.
Our lives are but a vapor, like the morning mist that soon dissipates with the rising sun. God has compassion for our fragile state and has sent the Comforter. The Holy Spirit is with you today, beloved. He will not abandon you but strengthen and comfort you.
Bring your tired heart to the Lord and ask Him to revive your spirit. God will not turn you away. He has promised to keep you. The Lord will be faithful unto this end.
In Christ Alone,
Pastor Wight
