Which Way | March 22nd

"Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul."

Psalm 143:8

God's children down through the ages have offered this same prayer as the Psalmist. Hoping God would lead them in a specific direction or assist them in making a wise decision.

The Lord desires to lead us more than we ask Him to. God works providentially in our lives and has given us the word of God. Scripture instructs us in righteousness and godliness. Daily, enabling us to know the way we should go.

The Holy Spirit also empowers us to desire the will of God. The spirit of God empowers us to follow the Lord. We do not have to depend upon ourselves. God is at work in our lives. May we follow the Psalmist's example and seek the Lord daily in the way we should go. God is faithful in making His ways known and helping us to perform them. Be confident of this today, beloved.
